Ruffled Feathers Parrot Sanctuary grew out of my experiences volunteering with two other rescue groups. I learned a lot from these experiences, especially the value of veterinarian care.
The sanctuary is a single person, home-based sanctuary that is able to assist both other rescue groups, and individuals.
In addition to parrots, we also help pigeons, starlings, and sparrows. For wild avian species other than these, we provide transport to the Wildlife Rehabilition Center in Roseville, MN.
Service Areas
We service the Mankato, New Ulm, and surrounding areas. We also can travel to the Twin Cities area.
