We received two large boxes of parrot toys from The Parrot Posse and Squawk Boxes from a donor. Also a lovebird aviary was given to the sanctuary. We are all very grateful for all the gifts. Thank you. I don’t really spend a lot of time asking for donations. When Fàcebook recommends setting up a donation form I’ll do it.

Just a rant this morning : there is another rescue with the same name as our sanctuary, except they have “Inc” after their name. The IRS in its wisdom thought that was okay. Not like there would ever be any confusion or anything. I spoke with the IRS this morning and there is nothing I can do about it. I even brought up the common sense argument. The representative asked if I wanted to change our name. I had the name first, and IMHO, the other sanctuary should never been allowed to use a name so close to mine.

Spring must be just around the corner. Seventeen cockatiels live at the sanctuary. Some came from Arizona when we relocated, some are shelter transfers, some owner surrendered, and some found in the wild. The ladies are laying eggs. Fortunately, all the eggs are abandoned by their moms and dads.
